I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Christchurch. The location was perfect, close to the centre of town and just a short walk to Riccarton mall. It was so convenient having shops nearby. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with attention to detail like having the heater put on and milk in the fridge. The hotel also offered basic amenities and a nice breakfast. great value for money!

No major issues, everything was okay.

Not a lot I am afraid the heat pump rattled all night the bathroom fan made a he'll of a noise so could not use . Plug in sink jammed so could not empty water. Needs a serious overhaul

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Christchurch Motel. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even organizing a warm room with milk in the fridge for our late arrival on a cold winter night. The location was ideal, with shops nearby and just a short walk to the Riccarton Mall. The motel unit was clean, cozy, and had all the facilities we needed. The fact that we were able to bring our dog along was an added bonus. we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience and have already booked to stay again. I would definitely recommend this motel to others.

overall good place, but got some problem with my payment for the stay, i checked in by paying cash, but after i ckeck out they charged my credit card agian, well they reponded to this problem and assured us to make reimbursement

This motel is in a great location, with plenty of nearby shops and on bus routes. The rooms are cosy and tidy, with comfortable beds, and occasionally a heater left on for guests. Some of the showers and facilities in older rooms may need updating, but all in all, a good budget choice.

The kitchen area could be improved for those wanting to cook for larger groups as the kitchen is quite small.

Over all I was happy with the accommodation, however I was a little concerned about the following: 1. When I arrived at the motel, the office was unlocked, but nobody was around. On returning to my car, I saw a sign on the window, saying be back at 8.15am approx. I waited nearly 15 mins before the lady returned to the office. 2. I booked for 1 x adult to stay the night, but the booked sheet stated 2 x adults - this was pointed out to the lady, her reply was it would have been booked as a standard??? 3. In the Motel information pack, it stated a early morning wake-up call can be arranged - I asked the lady if she would be able to arrange this, her reply was she didn't know how to provide this service and really didn't think this was possible! 4. I asked the lady what channel PRIME was on the TV, she didn't really know, but thought it was probably Channel 4 and I was told to surf the channels to find out.....It turned out to be Channel 15!

Clean, tidy and efficient, very reasonally priced

Stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They put on the heater in the room before we arrived, making it cozy and warm. Loved the fact that the hotel was close to the mall, with a variety of restaurants to choose from. The basic amenities in the room were good, including milk in the fridge and an electric blanket on the bed. The location was great, with easy access to the centre of town and the airport.

Everything was ok.
